This product is INCREDIBLE! Finally Something that works!

First of all I want to say that this product in AMAZING! It did miracles for me. I was suffering from internal hemorrhoids. It was EXTREMELY painful to use the restroom! I did my research and after some trial and error I FINALLY got rid of them. I know that everybody is different but this is what worked for me. First, buy this product. Use it everytime that you take a shower morning and night. Secondly buy some Tucks Hemorrhoidal Pads WITH Witch Hazel (Very Important!) Must have witch Hazel. Wipe yourself with toilet paper first then use the pads to clean that area entirely. Look up Witch Hazel if you want to know what it does. Thirdly, buy Metamucil Sugar Free Psyllium Fiber. Instead of drinking plain water or soda. Drink Metamucil with water with everything. After about a week and a half I was able to use the restroom normally. Metamucil helped to soften my stool and regulate my bowel movements. Tucks helped relieve, sooth, and clean that area. And this product helped me to cool, sooth, and alleviate the internal hemorroids. I no longer have any pain and I can continue with my life. I can assure you that this product works. This is my first time posting something on Amazon about a product. I feel that I owe it to myself to tell others who suffer from internal hemorroids about my experience. I know that it can be very painful and sometimes you don’t know where to turn to. Please follow my advice and I wish everything goes well. Thanks and I hope this works for you!

Okay, I find all the reviews of this product that comment on smell to be amusing. You are applying it to your anus. It is not the best smelling part of any body. Pretty much, almost anything you put on it, smells better than its natural state. This stuff smells like mentholated patchouli incense… much better than a hemmoroidal poop chute.
That said, this product is fantastic! It is extremely cooling – even after the initial application. You’ll feel nothing but a blissful cool tingle as the swollen ‘roids shrink. Seriously, it is like applying rose-colored ice cream to your bum… and the cool LASTS. I liked to mix this stuff with Nupercainal to get a cooling and numbing effect. After a day and a night, I can actually think of something other than on the pain and discomfort radiating from my backside. Buy this product. It is inexpensive and will let you focus on things other than your sore rectum.

Soothes the pain a little, stops the swelling

Unlike Preparation H and similar over-the-counter creams sold in the US (which are way too weak and do nothing for me), this one actually does something. I have thrombosed hemorrhoids which produce some of the most severe pain imaginable. Even prescription-only American creams like Lidocaine HCl 3% are totally useless for me.
This Chinese cream actually does help with the pain a little bit, not a whole lot, but it cools the swelling and there is some relief. It’s the first ointment I’ve tried that does something. As the previous poster said, it’s like applying an ice cube to the area, with some anti-swelling agents. Expect some immediate relief, though partial.
Hemorrhoids, particularly thrombosed ones, are a serious matter that requires strong painkillers like Ibuprofen and Percoset (there’s not a lot that topical creams can do). But this particular cream can be used in conjunction, for maximum relief with the swelling. Recommended.

Doctors must know the generic chemical, not brand. 99% of diaper rashes respond to over-the-counter: Clotrimazole 1% cream which sells for $4.99 per Oz at Target. For inflammation, hydrocortisone cream 1%, which sells for $2.35 per Oz at Target. We doctors must assume all patients do not have health insurance, great idea. We cannot be part of the problem in terms of sky-rocketing health care costs.
I am not sure if that specific one is safe or not. you should ask a pharmacist or her OB. In the mean time you can; Apply an ice pack (with a soft covering) to the affected area several times a day. Ice may help decrease swelling and discomfort. Some women find cold compresses saturated with witch hazel to be soothing.
• Soak your bottom in warm water, in a tub or a sitz bath. A sitz bath is small plastic basin that you fill with water and position over your toilet, allowing you to submerge your rectal area simply by sitting down. She can also soak in a warm bath tub.
• Try alternating cold and warm treatments. Start with an ice pack followed by a warm sitz bath.
• Gently but thoroughly clean the affected area after each bowel movement using soft, unscented, white toilet tissue, which causes less irritation than colored, scented varieties. Moistening the tissue can help, too. Many women find using pre-moistened wipes more comfortable than using toilet tissue. You can buy medicated wipes (such as Tucks) made specifically for people with hemorrhoids.
• Ask your healthcare practitioner to recommend a safe topical anesthetic or medicated suppository. When I was pregnant my OB had me use "tucks" which is a small moist towelette. This is placed against the anus and relieves the pain and reduces the swelling.

It's really up to you. Although in my opinion, it's better to be safe than sorry. When I was in 3rd year, we enrolled in AHEAD for review classes and it helped make us confident, and refreshed stuff we wouldn't have remembered. It sucks to review by yourself kasi it's like you miss some stuff. I like it better when there's an outline set up for me so less hassle. Anyway as for AHEAD, they have a test based review, so unlike other centers, they give you a feel of the actual exam, so you can get over the pressure. I mean kahit gaano ka nag review, if you freeze or croak during the exam (aghhh time pressure), wala din yung inaral mo. Soo yeah. Also, AHEAD posts their yearly passers' list.
